Overview
Julie K. Wortham is an Associate the firm’s Jacksonville office. She practices in the areas of general civil litigation, including insurance defense litigation, catastrophic and personal injury, and vehicle negligence.
Ms. Wortham graduated cum laude from Rockhurst University, where she double majored in Economics and Political Science and minored in Philosophy. She received an NCAA Division II Women’s golf scholarship.
After graduation she moved to Beijing, China, where she spent three years teaching Science and English while studying Chinese (Mandarin) and traveling throughout Asia.
She then attended The Pennsylvania State University School of Law, where she graduated in 2018. While in law school, she won Penn State Law’s Mock Trial Competition as a 1L, was the head of training for the school’s Moot Court teams, and competed in the John J. Gibbons Moot Court Competition. She also taught “Street Law” to high school seniors at State College Area High School. Additionally, she was an Editor of the Penn State Journal of Law and International Affairs. She also clerked for two trial court judges and one appellate court judge.
